I select 5-7 aspiring filmmakers/writers every month to offer subsidized script feedback for their feature films at Rs. 7,500 for a one-time online consultation or at Rs. 15,000 for three sessions over 3 months. This is a limited service only for those, who often don’t have access to industry mentors and this is my attempt to bridge the gap in the small way I can.

What you get: A 1.5-hour recorded online session with my detailed feedback on story structure, character, theme, genre, world-building, conflict/resolution, visual storytelling, and dialogue. If your script is advanced, I’ll also provide a development roadmap; labs/markets for your script, and insights on its commercial potential.

Many of you might be interested in pitching your project to me as a Producer. At the outset, I would like to mention a few ways in which I like to collaborate as a Producer, so it can help you save a lot of time and energy.

1) As an Executive Producer for films that are ready – If you have a ready film and you would like to bring me on board as an EP for the second leg of your film i.e., to execute your festival strategy, release and distribution plan, please fill this form, where you have to send me your film’s details and a secure link to watch your film. If you’re selected, I will get back to you within 7-days with next steps. This service comes at a fee depending on the scope of work, which will be discussed if your film is selected.

2) As the Main Producer or Co-Producer for the films at advanced script development stage – If you’d like to pitch your script to me, please note that I only take up projects which meet the following criteria:

1. The project has been through reputed Development Labs or Co-production markets or has been developed under the mentorship of a reputed industry professional
2. The filmmaker of the project has made at least 2 short films; filmmakers who have made at least 1 feature film are preferred
3. The budget is less than Rs. 5 cr.

I will be launching a Film Producing program for aspiring film producers and also for investors who may be interested in understanding the business of cinema for investment purposes. This project is under-development but if you’d like to be notified when it is launched, please fill this form.

I provide pro-bono general guidance (free of cost) to 5-7 people every month, who are considering entering the film industry or may be early entrants into the film industry (mainly writers, filmmakers and producers) and need someone to talk to.

What you get: If you’re selected, I would love to give you my perspective on how to navigate your career and journey in the film industry. I will also help you connect with more mentors in my network if I feel you might benefit from some of them. In rare cases if my bandwidth allows, I can watch your short film work, in case you require any guidance on how to take it forward.
